These patches are the ones I imbed in the Debian source package as
an example of how to have it build both vanilla and custom binary
packages simultaneously. I simply also post them on the FTP server
by themselves in case anyone else might benefit. They are unofficial
and/or alpha-grade versions of code, so I figured testing would be
limited to those with some experience in using development tools.
