MudEdit ------------- For CircleMUD 3.0 By: Plazmic Requires: --------- Pkunzip 2.04c or Later Windows 3.x (Should run on Win'95) Installation Instructions: -------------------------- 1. Unzip Mudedit.Zip into a directory. (Two files: Mudedit.Exe and Mudedit.Dat) 2. Run Windows. 3. Make an Icon for Mudedit.Exe. Operational Instructions: ------------------------- 1. Click the Icon. 2. Start a new file, or load an existing file. 3. Use the fully featured Room/Object/Mobile/Shop/Zone Creators. All of the Building.Doc specifications are internal! No more looking up a flag/bitvector value! If the option requires any specific value, just click on the text to the left of the input box. You can also edit the file as if it was plain text, too. That's it... Known Quirks: ------------- 1. If you have a blank line at the end of the file, MudEdit will insert a second file ending (ie. ~$) into the file when it is saved. 2. Also, MudEdit has trouble telling if the file wasn't changed. It may say you changed the file when nothing has been changed. Credits: -------- MudEdit was written in Visual Basic 3.0 MudEdit was programmed by Plazmic MudEdit was inspired by another editor: Mud Builder, written by Chris Field (Ok, I got the reference in...)
