Improved 'do_who' Revision 2 dkoepke@california.com `_.,-'^'-,._.,-'^'-,._.,-'^'-,._.,-'^'-,._.,-'^'-,._.,-'^'-,._.,-'^'-,.' This is a patch to make your 'who' command look nicer. It segregates mortals and immortals into two seperate listings, replaces class/level with a string for immortals (eg., "[ Greater God ]") and includes the ever-popular boot time high (total characters logged in for this boot) There have been a few additions and a few fixes to this version of the code. The biggest fix is a small bug that resulted when I forgot that I needed to set buf back to null -- this is fixed. This is a fairly simple patch, but it does save time and is nice in a number of respects compared to what I've seen other's come up with. I don't, however, claim this is the greatest thing since sex was created Personally, I do not use this in my MUD and have done **very minimal** testing on it. Sorry for any bugs. To install this patch do: % patch < do_who.diff If you get any hunks failed then you'll have to manually change do_who according to the .rej files. This was written on a stock Circle 3pl11 But since I don't recall any changes to do_who in any recent CircleMUD releases, it should work with damn near any version. But, don't quote me on that. Unlike the last version where I asked you not to bug me, I'll now take bug reports, etc. Just send comments or bug reports via e-mail. All flames will be cheerfully (and totally) ignored. <*=-+Daniel+-=*> "Forgive me father, for I am sin."
