Circle-Win98 Circle for Windows 98. Just unzip it, untar it, and your off and running. This is basically Circleblp14 with OLC2.0+ and the 128-bitvector code added. The wld, mob and obj files have been converted to work with the 128-bitvector code and OLC has been updated as well. The were some bug fixes like the triggers not saving and mobs walking into death traps and crashing the mud, but those have all been cleaned up. When you run your mud, it would be nice if you give credit to Shirak (whose web page was helpful), and the developers of OLC and the 128-bitvector code (I can't remember their names). If you are really nice, you could give some credit to me (Phooey). But really I'm just some dumb schmuck who ran a few patches and cleaned up some bugs. So if you don't give me any credit I won't be insulted. After extracting the files, you will find a workspace and project file for the code. These were developed using MSVC++6.0. I have no idea if they will work with previous versions. Just start up the workspace, build the code, then click execute. OR, you can run the mud from a DOS prompt and FROM THE ROOT DIRECTORY OF CIRCLEMUD just type > bin/circle.exe Many people just go straight to the executable's directory and type 'circle.exe'. This is wrong and you should be ashamed of yourself if you do it. There will not be updates to this code. I will not be updating this code for every version of Circle that comes out. This is IT! So grab that code and get ready to mud. Love, Phooey phooey182@aol.com
