I appreciate the help but my more immediate concern is with the hometwon
thing...

i guess this is to jeremy mostly, but any others could clue me in.

1.  why would differences in hometown have anything to do with crashing the
mud.

2.  why does circle *i see where, but can find no reason for why* randomly
generate a hometown?

for now i only plan to have 1. hometown, so any exaplantation in this would be
appreciated.
