Although I haven't looked at the house code for Circle 3.0 beyond a 
glance, it may be relatively easy for pets to be rented with you when you 
quit in your house.  You'll have to order them to give you compliments or 
write some wierd special processes for that.  :)

Yick!  As one who likes to see as much realism as possible, this part I 
don't care for.  Maybe equiping them with saddlebags or ordering a dog to 
carry something in its jaw, but that's as far as I would go.  :)  (and 
yes I would let them be attacked)

As I said in a previous mail, I would like to see lifespans on all mobs.

Naming them is already allowed.  Perhaps the string comand could be 
modified to have players be able to make descriptions for their pets.
