Although I'm fairly familiar with C coding, I am still slightly new to the inner-workings of major coding projects especially in the UNIX environment and know very little about patches. I am currently using pl9, but would like to upgrade to pl10. I have downloaded the patch from pl9-pl10, but I don't know what to do with it. Also, I am wondering, what will this do to my original source code? Will it erase anything that I hve changed?
