I'll take a stab at this one.. having done exactly that about a year ago.

1) A complete rethinking of the game balance.

2) The following struct needs to be expanded:
   const int thaco[NUM_CLASSES][LVL_IMPL + 1] 
3) The player titles (I removed it.. don't remember the name) struct needs to be
updated. -- The annoying routine that changes your title whenever you level -:)

4) the LVL_IMPL and LVL_IMMORT, etc.. need updated.

5) I think the backstab table needs updated (but, again I don't have that
anymore.. so I'm not sure exactly what it contained level wise.)

I used the compile/run/crash method to determine what needed to be
changed. -- I was new at Circle.. what can I say :-)

Just back the mud dir up and make those changes. I'd bet you can figure
out any other glitches that come up.
