Actually, if you go back through recent posts, you'll see that the reason
it crashes is because of an improper allocation in the mob_index or
whatever array of mob structs.  I believe that the actual fix was to
increment the mob_index by 2 as opposed to 1.  I think some one actually
re-wrote the entire thing to actually work correctly too - drop in code,
though I can't remember for sure.

        I'm still 200 messages behind on the list, so give me a while to
dig it up.
