Generally, if people don't answer, then they either don't want to or
don't know the answer.  Repeatedly posting the same question won't
make anyone want to answer you more (quite the opposite, frankly), and
nor will it help anyone else understand your problem.

I've never experienced or heard of this problem, although that doesn't
mean it doesn't exist.  Still, it's more likely you'll find someone to
fix it on a Linux mailing list or newsgroup than here.  Remember,
CircleMUD admins run everything from Linux, to Solaris, to BSD, to
Windows95.
