As I recall, 'restrict' is becoming a reserved word in the upcoming C9X
standard. I'm using libc 5.4.41, glibc 2.0.6, egcs 1.0.1, and gcc 2.8.0
and haven't seen the problem though.

Jermey has renamed it circle_restrict in the upcoming bpl13.
