[ROLEPLAY] Ideas on levelling?

Hi there. I am in the current stage of working out how my MUD will
be set out at the moment. At the moment I am contemplating how I
can edit the level system to make it completely "roleplay". ie,
You don't have to kill monsters to level.

I was thinking about an age system, where you gt 'stronger' the
older you get, up until about 45 where you start getting weaker ;)
And once you turn like 80 you die forever or something stupid like that.

Any comments would be appreciated.
