...unless you implement a lot more of termcap and telnet than CircleMUD
currently does.

For example, the Linux kernel's 'make menuconfig' (dialog-based) and Red
Hat's '/usr/sbin/ntsysv' both work over a telnet/ssh connection.

NOTE: Not all clients would be capable of handling such a display.  Most
MUD clients probably don't implement the entire telnet specification.
