I haven't been logged in as a char > LVL_IMMORT lately, but I could have
sworn that stock Circle code does a GECHO saying when people enter and
leave the mud.  I think you had to use WIZ_CMDs to turn on all
notifications or something like that. [or, I could be remembering
something from an alternate universe. <G>]
