Compiling sign.c

I have recently downloaded 3.0 code and the new sign.c program in the util
directory doesn't seem to like my SunOS system. It compiles fine on
BSD/386, but here is a script that I made out. Please tell me what could be
the problem here. Oh, BTW, it is a SunOS System V rel 4.0.
