Spell wait states

        Anyone know of a way to easily impliment a spell wait state? My
intrest in this is
for spells which will affect multiple targets, but not all instantly (for
example, chain lightning).
If a spell wait state, or similar effect could be created, this would allow
a spell to cycle through
targets without being instantaneous or tying up the the entire mud.
