OK, I've simplified the multi code to -

and I'm still getting a parse error - at the end of the file! I don't get
it...the above lines are added directly below the statement
hit(ch, FIGHTING(ch), TYPE_UNDEFINED);
in fight.c in the function 'perform_violence', stock code.
