This hasnt ever crashed our mud and we have imported more than a few
zones that have given us MANY errors.

although i am not sure if it is crashing.  you chould

If it was the new_patch.diff you need to DELETE or CONVERT your pfile
(like it says in the read me) because it is modifying where your mud
stores data, so unless you convert to ascii, any change to that is going
to throw it off kilter so to speak.
