This is a vent, and may be skipped over if one does not have the
time or patience to read the ramblins of a frustrated IMP. Just a brief
warning in case you thought there may be something important here.

It seems that the playeer think the game should be reset
everytime that a special equipment is unable to be found. An example of
this is someone wanting "a shimmering cloak" and the Mistress not having
one because the game has not been reboot in two days.
Part of role playing is not always being able to get what you
want in the ways you are used to. A player (GASP) might actually have to
bargain with other players to get equipment, or maybe even (NO WAY!)
have to settle for second best until they are able to get the piece of
equipment they want.
Personally I think it is nice when someone does have exactly
what I want, but to ask an IMP to reset the system just so I may have
that special piece of equipment is not something I would do. I have
been that player at one time, before I realized what role-playing and
MUD could do when allowed to be placed together.
