Sorry, 128 bits again

For some reason my =='s are coming up as =3D in the previous post, so please
do not mail me and say, look, your for loop is the cause. The code syntax is
correct, in that is compiles fine as per gcc under Linux.

Anyways, any help on this bug is greatly appreciated,
