     emacs
     make
     xxgdb/log()/purify

     upload to server: (linux)
     make
     pico
     gdb (if needed)


     If you aren't going to devel on your mud server, try to use as many
     different platforms as possible.  Makes a great deal of difference if
     your ISP ever goes down... A GREAT DEAL of difference.
