Far as I'm aware, they are mutually exclusive...
What would be different however between various codebases would be all
about the amount of data sent to/from the mud, but there is no set max #
connections. It's more a matter of connection speed...You might be
lucky to get up to 10 people on your mud without bogging down your
connection though...
