Ok, to anyone who's looking into this, I have played around with this for a
while now and it seems to be linked to the color in the prompt. If i turn
my color off it works fine. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with color codes
and ansi escape sequences to know what i'm doing debugging this. Any
assistance is appreciated as always. Thanks all.
