Personally, I've not used a lot of graphical mapping programs. Recently,
though, a friend of mine told me of one called AutoREALM, which was really
designed to create maps for paper RPGS, but could also double for doing
MUD maps. Having tried it, I found the interface and all to be fairly
clean and functional, and the product to be quite nice. The URL follows:

'autorlm.zip'. If need be, I can forward on a small map or two I've done,
off list of course, for demonstrative purposes.
