Troubles with stop_fighting()

Well, actually it's not a trouble with the func stop_fighting(), but rather it is
a problem when to call it.
To start from the beginning, I want the buffer (or tank, whatever you prefer) to stop
fighting when the mob becommes stunned, mortaly wounded, or incapacitated.
I had it working when only one char was hitting the mob, but the mud aborted when
two or more ppl also was hitting the mob.
Any help would be appreciated.
