[Circle] [Win95] local host, no network...how?

i've had no problem telnetting into myself when on a lan for testing. but
on another machine which is set up for dial out networking into an ISP
running SLiRP (i'm running it PPP) i am unable to get any tcp/ip terminal
program to recognize a local connection (tried netterm, crt, 95's built in
telnet, etc.). they all bring up the dialer <sigh...>.

i've tried numerous network setups, including giving myself a spoof ip
address (and disabling dial out), but no connection takes place in that
instance.

anybody else in the same situation that has found a way to connect into
circle locally for testing?

TIA... Lauren
