There have been lots of good suggestions for balancing the
economy, so that players don't have millions of coins, and 4 Thunderbolts.
Here's my suggesting, which I think goes a good way towards making more
interesting mobs.

Since most players attack mobs for their gold and equipment, it makes
sense to have the mobs attack players for THEIR gold and equipment.
Especially the higher, more powerful players.

I mean, how many times have we seen people sleeping right next to the
fountain? Why doesn't a sly thief just come up and steal the pants off
these dozing adventurers? Or maybe a band of marauders can all attack him
at once. Grouped mobs? Yea, grouped mobs! Give 'em a fighting chance!

Equipment and gold need to be distributed throughout the WHOLE mud, not
just the PC's, but the NPC's too. I think this would make for a more
realistic mud, and might help prevent players from obtaining too much
wealth or equipment.

PS: Some muds have banks. Don't these banks ever get robbed?
