Heh, my first post :)

I've seen what your asking for done, but it was part of a whole revision of
the 'tic' system.  Instead of having regen occur every tic (mud hour), the
system was changed to 'mud minutes' ~ one real sec. It would still take the
same total time to regen, it just happens incrementally. Not only was regen
applied to this system, but also spellcasting.  I'm not sure of the code (I'm
newbie with a capital 'NEW' at coding), but I'm sure others on the list can
figure out how to implement it.
