Beware of 14 character Minix filesystems. (yes they still exist.)
It might be nice and you can make a patch to register the patches, but I
don't think it'll be included in stock code, unless you convince Jeremy. I
don't see it being worth the headache to work on Windows, Acorn, Macintosh,
etc and every other platform CircleMUD supports.
