Individual Weather Patterns

Hiya,
The MUD I was playing crashed and burned for about 1/2 an hour,
so to take my mind off my predicament, I coded individual weather
patterns for each zone into stock Circle code and made a patch out of it.

Here is the readme file from the patch so you'll know what it does:
--------------------------------
This patch makes the weather a bit more realistic by giving each zone a
different weather pattern. The sunlight patterns were unchanged as this
patch concentrates on weather. This patch does not do different climates
(eg: arctic, temperate, desert, etc.). I'll leave it up to your
imagination and coding abilities to add in extra climates to your mud.

If you have any problems with the patch, please let me, John Evans know.
Currently my email address is evansj@hi-line.net. This will change around
May 1998 to something else. After May 1998, you can find me on the
CircleMUD mailing list.

Right now the patch is in limbo. I emailed it to George and I'm
sure he'll be nice enough to put it on his web page when he gets the
time. Again, please don't bug George about where it's at. He's being nice
enough to let me use (waste?) his web space and time with a couple
patches that I've made.

George, thanks again for the time, effort and support that you've
freely given to the Circle MUD community.

May the source be with you.
